Topkapı Palace Museum, an iconic structure in Istanbul, is one of the largest and richest museums in the world. Located on the historical peninsula overlooking the Marmara Sea, the Bosphorus and the Golden Horn, the Palace was the administrative, educational and artistic center and the main residence of Ottoman Empire between 15th and 19th century for approximately four hundred years. It hosted 22 Ottoman Sultans and their families throughout these centuries.

The second courtyard includes the Justice Square, where the official meetings of Divan (state administration) Council took place, and the Harem Complex, consisting of the finest quality of handmade tiles. The third courtyard comprises of Palace School and the Imperial Treasury, including the Spoonmaker’s Diamond, the fifth biggest diamond in the world. The fourth courtyard offers the most beautiful and aesthetic examples of Ottoman classical mansion architecture and magnificent Tulip gardens.
