“This apartment is just as advertised—you might not want to leave because the view from the large patio of the Bosporus is incredible, changing as the light of the day changes. Missy well deserves the title of “super host”—she was always responsive to our questions and arranged transportation for us to and from the airport. The apartment is on the top floor of a building down a narrow lane from Iskital Street, a main thoroughfare running from Taksim Square to Galata Tower (it is closer to Galata Tower). Just up the lane from the apartment is a wonderful “backpacker’s cafe” called …, a great place for breakfast or an informal dinner. On the same street as the apartment but across Iskital are a number of restaurants, some good, some bad, but if you want a genuine Turkish kebap experience, go to … Kebap. We are in our 60s but always felt safe going to and from the apartment. We’re glad we found this apartment on our first trip to Istanbul.”    Tim - May 2022
